I forget exactly what I was doing, but when I took a CD out of one of my drives after using it, the CD icons on my Gnome desktop disappeared. The only way I could get them to come back was to insert CDs again. But now, I get an error message saying:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc, or too many mounted file systems
I checked /ect/fstab and everything looks ok there (I'm fairly certain). I don't know what else to check.
