Hi all!
I wasn't using X caus my linux pc was jsut to split my internet connection. Now, i would like to play with X on it but my mouse doesn't work. I had Redhat 6.1 before and my logitech mouse was running well but when I installed Redhat 7.1, at a moment, it asked me what kind of mouse i had and on what COM it was connected. I got no idea on what COM it is....I tried them all (COM1 to COM4) and none of them works...I also tried with an old 2 buttons microsoft mouse wich not work either. I know it is not a USB nor PS2 mouse so i guess its a serial mouse. All this on an old pentium 100 32 ram Redhat 7.1 like i said before.
I think the command is mouseconfig but how the hell can I know the COM and correct me if im wrong but, if the logitech's mouse was working on Redhat 6.1, it should work on Redhat 7.1 right?
Any help, suggestions, URL, anything to help me getting this mouse working will be very very nice.
Thanks much in advance!
