We have a new G5 at work and have been using iCal for looking at upcoming events and when school work is due. I was wondering if there is anything like this for Linux. I have tried a few different ones but none have a monthly view (ie, 31 blocks with the ability to put small notes in those boxes). I never use the day calender (ie the one where you put a event next to a time). Well if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Other than that I'll have to write one when I get time.... arg!

Ximian Evolution- when you bring up the calender, go to "View", choose monthly, and it will show the monthly layout with the ability to enter notes on each day. It will keep the monthly view as default until you change it.
