I am new to linux(well i know little bit) and i want to install linux on my system, can anyone guide me on how to partition my hard disk(20GB) and install linux. :) :)

That should give you a start. Post back if you have any problems. The guys here are great helpers. I've learnt a lot here.

Most distros usually have a user (install) guide available on their website.
Give the suggested NHF a read and any others that may interest you.
