Hello,
When bringing my machine up activating the eth0 device fails. Once logged on (as root) and trying to activate my network either with the graphical utility, or the command line (ifup eth0) I get the following:
Determining IP information for eth0.../sbin/ifup: line 277: 1155 Bus error /sbin/dhclient ${DHCLIENTARGS} ${DEVICE}
failed
everytime the bus error is different.
line 277 of /sbin/ifup is "fi" (which I think is the end of an if statement, but my scripting skills are pre-neophyte)
Please any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. some background info. I had YDL 3.0 minimal installed a day ago and my network worked fine. So I decided to do the full install, and now it is broken.
P.P.S. I posted this in the Linux PPC forum yesterday and got no response. I am hoping to run into someone with info here. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
