I am trying to set my FireWire Burner on Yellow Dog Linux PPC.
I FireWire modules ( thanks to help from this forum)
But now it like there may be a problem with the scis bus.
I do cdrecord -scanbus and it returns with this error
[root@localhost sbin]# cdrecord -scanbus
Cdrecord 2.0 (powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2002 Jörg Schilling
cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver.
cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'.
What concerns me is the line "Cannot open /dev/pg* Cannot open SCSI driver"
Can someone fille me in on what is going on here.
What can I do to fix it?
