Make sure that you have the SMB Client setup in MDK. Might help to put MDK in the same workgroup as the XP box. Then from Konqueror type: smb:/ That should show all computers on network. You might have to reboot too, not sure how it picks up on broadcasts. knute 10-10-2003, 02:20 PM Share the drive from XP. tapsemi 10-11-2003, 02:00 PM I have samba up and running on my linux machine. Now when type smb:/ in Konqueror it pops up a window "Cervisia does not support remote repositories." , and I cannot see my WinXP machine. Does anyone knows what this means and how can I see my WinXP machine files from my Linux machine. DMR 10-11-2003, 03:59 PM Konq is calling Cervisia, which is a CVS front-end. Unfortunately, this seems to be interfering with your network browsing. Try browsing without using Cervisia. How you do that I don't know; I haven't used Cervisia. Unless you're doing software development, you shouldn't need Cervisia anyway. justlinux.com
