Hi to all !
There are some problems with my Toshiba Laptop.
1.) He doesn´t read a fine Red Hat 7.2 CD - just ignores it. Does anyone know why ? Everywhere else it´s fine !
2.) Now there´s Mandrake 8.0 installed but there´s a big problem with the mouse pointer. It appears like a crap graphic and I think the system even doesn´t recognize the graphiccard so finally it crashes.

The best would be to run Red Hat. Has anyone an idea what to do ???

Thanks in advance
Alex

What OS do you have that doesn't read a RH7.2 CD?

I'm a newbie, but it does sound like the graphics card isn't being recognized, or you just have a corrupt installation of X-windows. For the first problem, find out what video card you used, and search around or post back on this forum for help. For the second problem, and wait for someone else to tell you this, just reinstall.
