Umm...my router isn't responding to pings. I can't connect to it using SSH. But, I can write this, on the net. Of course my connection is in that computer...how is that possible, and what should I try? I tried ifdown/ifup on both NIC's, didn't make a difference, I killed/restarted SSHd twice too...Help!

Maybe a problematic firewall rule ?

Well, If I wanna allow 192.168.1.*, and deny everyone else, what should I do?

Afaik, put to file "host.allow" line:
"ALL:196.168.1".
