What distro are you using? There are only a couple that come with Helix Gnome included. Otherwise, if you want it you need to go to http://www.ximian.com and follow the instruction there on how to install it.
You likely have helix (now "Ximian") gnome if, when starting gnome, the splash screen mentions it. Also, if you have a little yellow button in the upper left-hand corner with what appears to be a little monkey on it.

It's nice. Ximian comes with some nice features like an updater function and others. If you're interested, it can't hurt to give it a test-drive.

Whats the pros of this version of GNOME over the "regular" version?

Also, i have it installed as one of my Desktop managers... where do i look to see if my GNOME is the "helix code" one?

Thanks a lot :)
