You don't need to download OpenGL. Either you'll have Mesa, or OpenGL will be your video card driver. So that begs the question: what's your videocard?

I have a Radeon 8500. When I try to install the driver. It
says I need OpenGl to complete the instalation. So I cannot install the driver.
