Lately ive been having trouble installing .rpm files. The most recent is the pine package(mainly for pico) I get the error "warning: pine-4.44-19.90.0.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, Key ID db42a60e" This is usually the same error i get whenever trying to install a package. I click on the rpm for the distro. I have and htis is usually what happens, am i doing something wrong?

This isn't an error, it's a warning.
What it means is that you do not have Red Hat's GPG key on your keyrings, so RPM can not check the signatures on the packages.
If you want to avoid seeing it the future, get Red Hat's package signing key and add it to your keyrings.

thanks, that explains a lot. So if it is just a warning shouldnt rpm -i --force work to install it?
I believe you just need to hit <enter>.

are you installing the packages from the CL? or are you using your distro's package manager? if you are using the CL you can force the install using that command if need be but like serz said you should just be able to hit enter:)

You shouldn't have to do anything extra. The package should install anyway, it will just print that warning.
