Unfortunately, it needs glibc2 and I have only libc5 in my distribution (OpenLinux). Is there any easy way to point to newer library without getting more recent distribution? Argh... PLBlaze 02-08-2001, 12:47 PM Not really but if you don't want to upgrade then your only option is to go to gnu's ftp site (ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/glibc) and get latest glibc (2.2.1).Unless you know how to handle glibc compilation i'd advise not to do it or else your system will not work...there are posts about upgrading/compilation of glibc just use the search function on this forum.Hope this helps. justlinux.com
