uninstalling packages in slackware 9.0

in my kde start menu there's alot of useless programs i dont want. ive tried going into pkgtool and remove them but when i highlight a package and hit ok it says "no packages removed", any ideas?

did you put an "x" against it (hit spacebar), then "Enter"?

might i suggest having a look at swaret too, its a quite nice lil app for slack
