I'm trying to detect my Camera as a USB drive but it doesn't seem to work.

dmesg | grep sda gives the following below. Can anybody help me out ?

Why are you probing a scsi disk for a USB camera? How about /dev/video?

I'm not

I just tried plugging it in and rebooting the PC. Kudzu detected it I think but that's all I got.

you should be able to mount it though depending on what kind of fs the smart/compact whatever media uses, it will mount just like a scsi device
