konqueror freeze-up

After using konqueror for about 20 min. it will freeze up for 30 seconds. After un-freezing, it won't freeze up again untill the next time I get into konqueror. Why is this happening:confused:

Might be worth checking what resources are being allocated to it. After about 15 min (or all the time) run top and check to see how much mem/swap is in use. My experiences with Konqueror suggest it is kinda hungry.
