Hi. Bare with me, i know this has been asked before, but its just giving me hell.

I've come to the understanding that mandrake 8 is preconfigured to handle TrueType fonts. Is this true? If so, where do I copy them to on m linux partition to make them work?

If not, any help? I looked at the Fonts NHF, and thats about the most confusing NHF i've ever seen here. I just want to be able to see the letters I'm typing right now without jacking them up to size 18.

Thanks for any help,
-Rob

hey, well, a couple hours after I posted that, and I've figured it out!! Thanks anyways. Seems only Mozilla will let me override all the webpages with Times New Roman, but thats ok, it seems like a nice enough browser.

I do have one question though, if anyone knows:

Why are all the input boxes and cursors like twice the size of the font that gets typed in them?
I mean, its like this:

pass: | I can learn to deal with it though.

Opera doesn't have this problem with huge input forms. Just ignore it I suppose, or if you change the Fixed Width Font to a non-TrueType font, it fixes the problem.
