What are ext2's sector/cluster sizes?
Lately, I have been using Paragon's Partition Manager 2000 (demo) for Windows to format my ext2 logical partitions and under the "Advanced" settings, the values range from 2-8 sector/clustor; 2 being the default value. So what is the "real" setting and what is the most optimal?
Also, there is an option to create a "LinuxSwap" partition and a "LinuxSwap2" partition. Never knew there where two kinds...any ideas? which is better ?
See this FAQ and look at format settings.. (http://www.partition-manager.com/n_pm_faq.htm#Q3.6)
