Hey :

I'm getting ready to upgrade slack-current pkg's and I have a question about the 'xfree86' pkg's.

On several of the 'x' pkg's, on the chng-log it says:

"Don't include fonts.cache-1 files; run fc-cache -f in the install script instead."

Would someone be so kind and explain how to do this step? I don't quiet understand what I need to do...step-by-step?

Thanks a million. I won't upgrade until I find out this step.

TIA, Frank

Any Slackware users know about this?

Yin... If not, see if the Slackware site has anything (support/faq's etc.) on that install script.

mdwatts, I thank you for responding.

I ended up doing an: #upgradepkg --verbose 'pkgname' and all works fine.

I am really impressed with slack-current-9.1-beta2 (grin). Everything is crisp, clean and very fast!

Peace, Frank :)
