I know there is a icq client in linux but does someone know if there is anyway to convert windows-icq to linux or in someway extract the adressbook so I don't have to add everyone again.

My personal favourite is licq. That's about all I can say though. I don't know how to extract the address book from windows-icq. I think there are some database converters out there to do this job... no idea where to get them though. Maybe someone else can help... It is (probably) the most comprehensive linux software database. I bet that by browsing the instant messaging section or searching ICQ you could get what you need.
