Ok, I want to get a copy of Mandrake 8.0, but where the heck is the iso for it? If you go to the download page, they say that there should be two iso's you can download, but whenever I click on any of the FTP servers, I get a whole bunch of confusingly named, non-documented files. I notice an autorun in the / directory of the FTP server. So, do I have to download all the files and burn a cd from those files? Why didn't they just put the iso's up? It's annoying.

Also, does anyone know how easy it is to get Mandrake to install along XP? I really don't want (nore do I really have the time)to format my whole drive, install Linux, then install XP, and then reinstall all my programs once again. Also, anyone know where the link is to solve the cylinder problem for LILO, or did they fix that with Mandrake 8.0?

First, about the iso's on the ftp sites, you have to right click on the iso and save the image, (Netscape feature). Second the best way to have a dual boot Win/Linux machine is to have two hard drives, one for linux and one for Windows, however you can install them on the same hd, just don't format whold drive for fat32. Install windows first, then Linux, you should have no problems with LILO.

Oh never mind, I feel like an idiot now, I found it. I just checked it now to give you a link to what I was seeing, but low and behold I get all three ISO's is nice neatly named formats. But I swear to god last night, I couldn't find it on any of the servers! :P
