This is for a project so don't go overboard giving me the full answer. I just need to know where to look.
What does the login shell do while a command is executing? Compare the users rights to what they're trying to do? Something security related or just sitting there drooling on itself.
Thanks.

The bean dip took over my fridge. It's now screaming at me and holding a piece of fruit hostage. How about an idea about the login shell part?
Tks.

You may find something in the how-to's and faq's at www.linuxdoc.org (http://www.linuxdoc.org)
There's a lot of documentation there with hopefully the answer you are looking for.
