WHICH firewall/router to use Gshield or PMfirewall??

SO MODEM IS WORKING but only when every time i put in this line in the command line??
was in the readme instructions of the installation package of the modem
first put modem off "ifdown dsl0" than

"pppd lock crtscts -detach debug ttyS1 115200 "

than the comp does a lot of things than i have to "ctrl- c " and than up my modem again with "ifup dsl0"

can this be done with some tweaking in some script?? please tell me in a few steps where to do it..i am still a http://images.linuxquestions.org/questions/images/smilies/newbie.gif

and which is the best tool for internet sharing firewall router and so on in JAMD??

remember want to create 2 networks...
1 dmz zone where people from the inetrnet can access FTP and webserver
and 1 green zone for internetsharing and file sharing....

people from green zone has to be able to get into the dmz zone too for file sharing...

and downloaded both programs already...

which do you recommend??

P.s. if i could implement the compiled driver into the smoothwall than i would choose to use the smoothwall but for the moment nobody can explain how to do this and the website of the one who knows it is down...
