When I disconnect from the Storm Internet dialer, it boots me out back to the console. I gotta restart x every time.
Any ideas?
I'm running Storm Linux deluxe 2000.
Thanks again

Although I've never had this same problem with Storm Dialer, it is still a very "young" app that needs work for many other reasons.
Avoid the GUI dialers. Kppp works depending on which version you're using and gnome-ppp is a pain...
Since you're using a debian-based distro, just configure ppp to be run from the command line.
You likely set this up already with pppconfig since I believe that's what the storm dialer uses for its configuration.
Just type pon at the command line to connect (provided you named your ISP provider as "provider") and poff to disconnect. If you're using either kde or gnome, you can use the "run" selection from the main menu skipping the command line/terminal interface altogether.

I've always had great success with a couple of windowmaker dialers. YAWMppp and wmppp. YAWMppp is a bit more dificult to configure but it can be run in thin mode so its good for KDE and Gnome as well.
Or you could try XISP which is just great it will autoredail if the connection is dropped and gives you info as its dialing. dead easy to configure great app.
apt-get install xisp.
