Gnome tastbar?

I just installed Ximian Gnome on my redhat 6.2 laptop.. where is the "taskbar" applet?
does anyone know what gnome calls it and where i find it?

There is a panel that stretches along the bottom and I use the Desk Guide to select among my 6 desktops and the Tasklist to see my running progs.

Are any of those what you are asking about? They are all under applets/utility
