I can't figure out how to integrate my real player into my netscape browser. I'm using browser v4.75. For instance, in windows, when I click on a "play" button from within the window, the real player is executed from withing the browser window. With linux, though, this action would just bring up another browser window, execute Real Player separately, leaving me with two additional windows that I'll have to close manually later on.

I haven't got a straight answer, but someone else might have and I'd be interested in the reply :D
Basically I tried to use real as a plugin, copying it to the Netscape /plugin directory. This hasn't worked; I have also tried to associate .ram etc files with realPlayer, and this hasn't worked either. I can use it through Konqueror very well- I just click on the RealPlayer link and it asks whether you want to open the file and with which application. Browse to the RealPlayer executable, click OK and it launches just RealPlayer (no extra window etc). When it works, it works pretty good!
I'll keep checking back anyway, in case someone knows the answer. Good luck!!
