I've just finished my first linux install (Debian 2.2r2) and I've installed the 2.4 kernel, but I'm having some troubles installing AfterStep 1.8. I saved the output into some .txt files that I'm hoping someone can have a quick look over and point me in the right direction as to what I'm missing, or what I could be doing differently. I haven't installed the xpm, jpg, or png packages yet, but apparantly AfterStep will still install without them, it just won't be able to display themes that use them. Thanks in advance.

Make.txt (http://home.westman.wave.ca/~smsa5/make.txt)
Make_Install.txt (http://home.westman.wave.ca/~smsa5/make_install.txt)

Everything looks good to me. AfterStep won't run? What are you doing to try to run it?

I'm just typing in 'afterstep' in the console, but the problem is that the files aren't even thereİİİ I'm not sure what else I can give for information, but let me know
