Right now I'm running enligtenment by itself - no KDE or gnome. Can I run something like evolution, mentioned on the LNO start page, under enlightenment only? When I went to the evolution homepage it seems to be tied in with Gnome... Does that mean that there is something gnome itself has that a "gnome"-based program needs to run?

thanks

Generally yes, as long as you have Gnome installed .

<edit> yes you can run them, that is. </edit>

You will need to have the gnome-libs installed, though not necessarily the whole GNOME package.
