opengl help!

i have it working. But when i play open gl games like soldier of fortune or tuxracer it will lockup. the time is random it can be anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 hours but it locks up so hard i have to do a reboot.

using a geforce 2 pro 64 mb ddr graphics card. dont feel like paying 150$ for another.

I havnt used windows in months but i think i may go back to see if the card works in windows 98 without locking up .(becomes depressed)

Edit your "/etc/X11/XF86Config-4" file and just under where is says "Driver "nvidia"" put the following line:
Option "NvAGP" "0"

Restart X, then go play one of your games. If this works then you know that agp is the problem and you can go from there in trying to slow it down or use the other agp gart. If it doesn't work then just remove it.
