i need to open a microsoft publisher file in redhat 7.2 but can not seem to find an editor or viewer that will do such.

But again, I'm not sure... hlrguy 09-05-2003, 09:09 PM The only thing that can open a publisher file is publisher. Publisher 97 can't open Publisher 95 and vice versa, Pulisher 98 or was it 99, that my wife upgraded to could not open any existing pubisher files. There is no option to save as a previous version of Publisher for backwards compatibility. My wife could therefore not share any publisher files with he boss unless he went and forked out the cash for a new version. MS's response to all this...why wouldn't he want to upgrade and this isn't our problem. She uses OpenOffice now. Took about 2 days to recreate everything in OO, but I did it to save a HUGE chunk of change.
