Is there a web browser that I can use that doesn't use the X window but still view graphics and such?
I have given up on X until I get a compatible video card.
TIA

links was working on incoroporating graphics with SVGAlib last I heard, but that is all I heard - that they are working on it.

You can configure links to use zgv to display graphics. However it won't be inline graphics. You have to select the link to the image and it will launch zgv.

Check the Links manual.

Thank for replies guys.
While I'm on the subject. I have had Linux on my machine since December. But since I have spent all my time trying to get X working, I have not looked at anything else.
Is it important to get X working before learning Linux. Will I be limited to what I can do without it only I cannot afford a new video card for a couple of months.

What sort of sites will I be able to browse with Links? Can I work on this site with it?
:)
