A while back I read in a how-to somewhere that every good linux user should keep a log. So naturally I have a log spanning the two week period that I have had free from Windows. I have changed a lot with my computer, and yet, as I look back, all I have recorded in my log book is lists of programs that I have installed from the Mandrake Cd's or downloaded. The only thing that has really held me back from recording anything else has my lack of knowing which specific cases are important and then how to go about recording that information.
So how detailed should my log be?
