My computer is currently dual-booting with linux and Windows 98. It is also connected to another Windows ME computer through a simple LAN (2 computers each with an ethernet card and their own printer, and a cable).
I have read how to get the LAN up and running in Linux by editing the hosts, setting the subnetmask, etc.
Before I go and do all that, I want to make sure that the LAN still work when I boot into Windows. Will the LAN settings be okay whether I boot up in Linux or in Windows?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
