I was talking to some guy (wished I had asked him his name) in the towns book/computer/cafe/supply store about linux and computers (hes the first guy I've talked to in 6 months that didn't say "Line axe what?"). Well to make a long story short he said that the was a computer coming out by corel that had a java operating system on a chip on the main board that could run multy platform programs. Did I hear wronge/was dreaming this? I've not been abile to find any information. Sounds cool, but no info, no dice.

Several years ago sun, hitachi and a couple of other companies built some javachips. I think the sun chip was called picojava or some such thing. I haven't heard about corel tho...

That is really old news about the Corel box. I think it was when Wordperfect 8 was new. Obviously it died.
