Hi....

Trying to (pentium II 400 w128 mb ram.)

I have two hard drives in the macine the first runs win2000 (I use it as an answering machine I don't trust windows with anything more complex :) -- ) and a second hard drive (HDC) 3 gigs in size, that is split between a swap and root partition (no other physical partitions)256 mb swap and 2.8 gigs to /

When I go through the install for red hat 7.1 from the CD it goes through the install fine and I select the options I want. When it starts to install I get the message "an error occured transferring the installation image to the hard drive, you are probably out of disk space" The install size indicates that I'm using from 707mb to 1.2 gigs. This should fit fine within a 2.8 gig root partition.

Ant thoughts??-- The disk was previously partitioned the same way, only with mandrake installed. I wanted to try red hat to compare.

Thanks for any help.
