Do a search on http://freshmeat.net there was some updates for the 2.4-test kernels a while back.

In a word NO, the 2.4.0 kernel and the 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 patches do not support supermount. :mad:

I asked this question a while back, and PLBlaze helped me with it. He sent me a rewritten version for kernel 2.4.1 but since 2.4.2 is out, I am not sure.

Hehe :), DJ how's the supermount working?
I have just corrected the hunks that get failed in 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 kernel due to reiserfs being added (most of them in fs.h header).I did one for 2.4.2 too,whoever needs it then shoot me a line or stop by irc.worldirc.org #linuxnewbie...funny i never tried supermount myself (no need yet) :D.

Original Supermount patch from the author (http://www.geocities.com/alexismikhailov/supermount.html) is to be used on kernels 2.2xx and 2.4.0.Hope this helps.
