Determining network speed

Is there any way to dertine and manually set the network speed/duplex mode of a 10/100 NIC from within RedHat or is it just always autosense? :confused: :p :D

I saw someone post about that a day or so ago and I believe they included a command to do that. The thread is either in General, Hardware, Software or Technical. If I have time later, I'll also have a look.
