OK, Installed RH 8.0 on my laptop (Presario 1270). Doesn't have an internal nic, and I have a usb nic (SMC2202). Can't figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.

http://www.network-drivers.com/drivers/23/23110.htm looks interesting. but im gonna do some more research into an easier method.

Believe it or not, but the Pegasus II USB Nic driver works great. I've searched around, and as long as it works (using it now). Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

My laptop screams with RH 8

I considered Debian, but I haven't ever installed that version, and am a little gunshy.
