Dial Out Problem

Hello,

For some reason I can no longer dial out using my modem, I keep getting 'modem not initilised' type messages,

I've run a debug (using) Redhat 7 ppp connector and the modem seems fine, though as soon as I try to dial out using either Redhat ppp or wvdial it poops out on me ?

Any ideas ?

Does it still work under windows?
If not, could be a bad modem.
If it does, then verify all your settings under Linux.

The modem works fine under windows, it was the first thing I tested.

I think I'll recreate the dial settings, don't what could have caused it though.
