I have a client (HUGE!) who wants redhat, but they only want 6.0! I can't find the iso on redhat's ftp site! Anyone know where I can get a copy?

Try www.linuxiso.org (http://www.linuxiso.org) They normally have the latest ones, but maybe they have copies of older ones. Otherwise, maybe you could try the stores and bookstores. Look for books with a copy of RH 6.0. May I ask why 6.0? Why not 6.2?

Well, linuxiso doesn't have it...

The client is a very large company, so they go by the old corporate standard when buying software... "Never buy the latest technology". Unfortunately, I'm not interfacing directly with the client, so I can't turn on the charm. I'm actually supporting the guys in my company who are building the boxes, 'cos they don't know a whole heckuvalot.

found it! :D

Sourceforge's ftp site has an iso archive, so I got it from there.

Yeah, I really wish I could talk to the client myself, but as it turns out, they're in Chicago. We built 25 rackmount 1U and 2U servers. The client sent four of them back saying they don't install (the client did the install, we just did the hardware), and so this guy has to troubleshoot it. Turns out the problem is fairly popular - the old Adaptec SCSI card! Needs the aic7xxx driver... you remember? yep, that old gag.

Well anyway, I sent the guys up north who are building this stuff a bunch of links and stuff, and the division director is coming to see me tomorrow, all the way from New Hampshire! He asked my boss if he thought I'd consider working on Linux stuff even though I'm 'really a Sun engineer'.... HA!! My boss laughed at him.

...can you say 'chomping at the bit' boys and girls?
...I knew you could :)
