Irc (perl error when trying to run ksirc)

KSirc is the program im trying to run, it came with mandrake so im assuming i didnt have to install it, im guessing there is something wring with the pearl libraries? or i gotta install it?!?

Or can anyone point me to a different IRC client?

try reinstalling perl from rpm or try another irc client. maybe irssi.
