Diskless Howto

Hello everybody!

I have installed Redhat 7.0 on my computer and I was going through diskless Howto. I found out that the Howto was for Redhat 5.0 and when I looked for the changes suggested in the source code files I could not locate those texts. I am confused as to how one should acquire the Howto for current versions.Please help.

www.linuxdoc.org (http://www.linuxdoc.org) should have the most current of the how-to's. If not, then a web search may find other documentation on the subject.

there probably isnt a HOWTO for the latest version of rh .. what exactly is the problem ..

The problem is that I will be required to setup a computer lab in a college with one server and about 70 diskless nodes.

Plus they already have ethernet cards with bootprom on it as they previously used to use Novel Netware. Now they have taken Redhat 7.1 Professional from us and also expect us to do setup at their college.

I am very much confused as I don't know how to go about and how to aquire the required skill set because on going through the Howto from Redhat 7.0 documentation CDs I could not decide the actual line of action.

Also please tell me if the existing ethernet cards which are already with boot prom will do or the proms will have to be again burned.
