Saving email from outlook on linux drive
Is there something strange about the way MS Outlook saves emails that would make it difficult to save on a linux network drive? I have my network running and am using SuSE linux 8.1 and Samba 2.2.5. At the moment, I have set permissions wide open (777) while I configure and get everything working. I have no problems working with files on the shared drives but if I want to save an email into a drive for storage from ms outlook on the win2k client machines, outlook tells me \\server\drive\file.eml Cannot access this file. Check security privileges over the network drive.
Has anyone come across this before? Any idea what is going on?
