I just installed Suse7 on my IBM i1400 laptop. For my login password i used "yamaha"
However when istallation was over, i restarted system and:
Welcome to Suse Linux 7.0(i386)-Kernel 2.2.16(tty1)
z login :(i typed root)
password :(i typed yamaha, pressed enter)
You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root.
last login: Sun Feb 25 14:18:40 on tty1
Have a lot of fun...

I dont know what should i do?

Congratulations, you are at the command line. To get into X windows, type startx. Enjoy!

I typed startx, but :eek: :confused: it showed me

there is no link /var/X11R6/bin/x to /usr/x11r6/bin/xf86 which is binary of the installed X-server.
Please lik the file as mentioned above to install the X-server and run xf86config again.
I'am aborting now.

you need to install, configure, and link your x server (and binaries). try using XF86Setup to do this... :D
