I installed GAIM on my machine running RedHat 7.1. I configured the proxy server for a SOCKS4 proxy and when I attempt to connect it gives me a "host not found" error such as I might expect if the proxy was not set up correctly. I installed it only a couple days ago on another machine running RedHat 7.1 and it worked flawlessly. Still does. This is behind the same proxy server. Any ideas? May I have forgotten a step somewhere? Thanks!
