Anyone had problem with this? I'm currently running Win2K on 2x 20GB disks in RAID 0 config. I wanted to allocate a partition for Linux but when installing Mandrake it failed at SCSI identification step.. I'm assuming the install wanted to see my IDE-3/4 ports (HPT) as scsi.. anyone done this? know the answer? I'm oh so very new to Linux.. but want to give it a go!
Help appreciated!
Bodie :)

You download the kernel from http://www.kernel.org and there's a NHF on upgrading the kernel for mandrake at http://linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/distros/mandrake/mdk_kernel_upgrade.html.
Hope this helps and have fun. :)
