I just installed SuSE 8.2 and love it so far. I have a simple setup with my cable modem going into this linux box. Then i have a windows box that is connected directly to the other NIC in this box using a crossover.

In Mandrake 9 it was easy to set it up to share the connection. The built in setup tool in the mandrake config for connection sharing worked great for getting it running. Then i was able to edit the shorewall config files to tweak it to my needs.

What is the comprable way to do this in Yast? I found the setups for the NICs which have some options with routing and stuff... but it doesn't seem to be the way to do it. Does anyone know where I should start looking to accomplish this?

I got it working, but not through yast. I just turned off the SuSE firewall and downloaded shorewall. It's very easy to set up and highly documented. It seemed to work fine installing from the rpm.
