hello,

OS: Suse Linux 8.2

Problem 1: My TV-Tuner Card don't want to work. Is there any support for a bt881 chip (Win TV Primio) It would be great if there is any possibility...

Problem 2:But i've another problem with my scanner, it's an epson perfection 660 / is there somewhere a good how-to-do list for getting it worked

Problem 3: I'm a newbie in linux

Thanks a lot for all hints

I didn't get that many hits with a G4L search for 'bt881' (http://www.google.com/linux?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=bt881&btnG=Google+Search) so it must be a new chip. One of those hits mentions a kernel patch.

1. Look on the Suse site to see if the TV chip is supported. Also look in their forums, Do a search of these forums. And (with a nod to MD Watts) search on the Google Linux directory.
2. Look for the sane or xsane websites for the scanner configuration.
3. Read help files, try "man whatevercommandyouwanttolearnabout", and the library on this site and the Linux Documentation Site.
