scanner setup in mandrake 9.1...well...-

im actually wondering why when i set up my scanner in scannerdrake, i cant find the apporpriate parallell port. this is because when i start XSane, it cant find my scanner. ive tried all (3?) parallell ports in the scanner setup. no go. my scanner is a canon canoscan fb620p.

do you get an errors from scandrake? is this a usb scanner? you may want to take a look at these links
