Argh !!!

I'm trying to set up Red Hat 6.2 on a second hardrive, but everytime I try and boot Red Hat I get a freaking kernel panick message.

The second HD has three partitions on it, one 16 mb boot partition, a 200mb swap partition and last is a 1.9gb root partition.


What am I doing wrong?

hello,
it sounds like you have eveything set up correctly. i may be soemthing else, i have had probelms like this when my disk was bad or dirty, or the drive was shot.

Try a search for 'kernel panic' in some of the main forums. Been a few of these lately.
